- Ribosome: Make proteins
- Cytoplasm: Holds organelles, water, and other life supporting things Ariel- “Everything in a cell in the area between the nucleus membrane and cell membrane”
- Cell membrane: Surrounds each cell to separate the inside of the cell to what’s around it
- Lysosome: Recycle broken down organelles
- Golgi body: Sorts protein into vesicles (wrapped membrane)
- Nucleus: Controls what goes on inside the cell
- Vacuole: Temporarily store waste sometimes
- Mitochondria: Make energy
- Endoplasmic reticulum: Transports protein from ribosomes to the Golgi body
- Chloroplast: (only in plant cells) Changes the energy from the sun into chemical energy
